Dear Friends and Colleagues,

                It takes a unique individual to be an Asian Crime Investigator and Specialist.  As an Asian Crime Investigator and Specialist, you know, it takes more than pounding the pavement and knocking on doors to conduct any criminal investigation properly and thoroughly.  The International Organization of Asian Crime Investigators and Specialists (IOACIS) is a non-profit organization that will assist and contribute to its’ members the necessary investigative tools, training and education to properly conduct and assist you in your investigations.  Through information sharing, training, education and, most importantly, networking.

               With the age of computers and the Internet, the criminal element has broaden its’ horizons.  Without organizations like IOACIS, the typical, everyday investigators and specialists have almost become obsolete.

                The mission and objectives of IOACIS will lead the changes necessary in the 21^st century through Communication, Cooperation and Collaboration.

                IOACIS is committed to:

1.        Provide a vehicle for members to exchange professional and fraternal relationships throughout the world.

2.        Strengthen global law enforcement community relations through education, training, and outreach.

3.        Conduct training conferences and form a networking system for law enforcement communities worldwide.

4.        Recognize accomplishments and strive for new achievements by recognizing and using the skills, creativity, and abilities that crime investigators and specialists have demonstrated through their investigations and studies.

5.        Construct and develop a better, safer community and society worldwide.

                In the changing faces of organized crime, the focus has turned to Terrorism.  IOACIS will continue and commit to host the annual International Conference on Asian Organized Crime and Terrorism (ICAOCT) formerly known as the International Asian Organized Crime Conference.  The conference will not only feature topics related to Asian gangs and organized crime but will include topics on terrorism as well.  This conference will offer a forum for Criminal Investigators and Specialists, alike.  The opportunity to get together with other fellow Crime Investigators and Specialists from all over the world and network, share information as well as gain the knowledge, training, education and expertise from world-renowned experts in the field.  Please visit www.icaoct.com for more information.
